Avita and her bridesmaids spent the night at the Royce Hotel which is a boutique hotel along St Kilda Road. Their balcony overlooking the Shrine of Rememberance and the Botanical Gardens was a perfect spot for Avita to timeout from the bustle of beauticians and selfie sticks, and to rehearse her wedding speech. Meanwhile, Ken and the boys suited up at his home in Mitcham and were on their way in no time.
We love Quat Quatta. Their manicured gardens provide an elegant backdrop to any wedding. With verandahs all around, it's easy to achieve great photos come rain or shine. Today it was shine, and lots of it, as you can see with all the floating rose petals and happy people in the sunny pics below!
The wedding guests had a lovely time in the grand, yet very comfortable Quat Quatta hall, where they were treated to great food and Ken and Avita's bridal waltz. The decorations and little touches on the wedding table were amazing! By the way, if you're contemplating having your wedding at Quat Quatta but can't decide between a lunch or dinner reception, please read our Quat Quatta Review which might help!
Just up the road from Quat Quatta is the beautiful Kamesburgh Gardens. If you're having a wedding in the Brighton area, this is a great location for your wedding photoshoot and we bring couples here whenever we can. The grounds are large enough to produce unique photos every time we come here, from the Kamesburgh Mansion, the rose garden, fountain to the numerous large trees around the property.
Oaktree Anglican Church was a cosy venue and the staff there permitted us to use their grounds as we wished. We took advantage of their gorgeous white doors and their bluestone walls!
Thanks for the privelege of sharing this day with you and we hope you enjoy your custom designed photobook and wedding videos!
